Product Overview
Radicchio Rossa di Treviso Precoce World Kitchen Seeds
Approx 1000 seeds
Radicchio Rossa di Treviso Precoce is a traditional Italian favourite grown for its striking deep red leaves and crisp white ribs. It brings colour, texture and a distinctive tangy flavour to salads. Harvest young for tender baby leaves that regrow for 2–3 cuts, or allow to mature for firm, full heads.
How To Grow
Sow seeds 5mm deep in trays of seed-raising mix or directly into the final growing position. Cover lightly with fine soil, firm gently and keep moist. Transplant when seedlings are strong enough to handle, spacing 20cm apart for full heads or 5cm apart if growing for baby leaves. Seedlings emerge in 12–14 days. Keep well watered and fertilised.
When To Plant
All year round.
Harvest
Baby leaves as required, or whole heads 12–16 weeks from sowing.
Sow
Spring, Summer, Autumn, Winter.
Soil Type
