Product Overview
Pumpkin Small Sugar World Kitchen Seeds
Approx 20 seeds
Pumpkins have been grown for centuries by Central and North American tribes. Small Sugar is a classic variety bred for its naturally high sugar content, producing 1.5–2kg fruits with sweet, fine-textured flesh that is perfect for pies, soups, and roasting. Its manageable size makes it practical for both growing and cooking.
How To Grow
Sow seeds 15mm deep directly into prepared garden beds. Sow 3–4 seeds in clumps, thinning to the two strongest seedlings once established. Allow 100cm between rows and 50cm between clumps. Keep soil moist and plants well-watered throughout the growing season. Seedlings emerge in 7–14 days.
When To Plant
Spring to Summer, or all year in warm areas.
Harvest
16–20 weeks from sowing.

Spring, Summer.
Soil Type
Fertile, well-drained soil in a sunny position.
Important Note
These seeds may be treated with a fungicide (Thiram or Apron XL). Do not eat the seeds or feed them to animals. Fungicide treatment is an AQIS requirement for certain varieties of seeds. It does not affect your crops or harm beneficial insects such as bees. If your packet has been treated it will be clearly marked, and the seeds dyed a distinct colour.
