Pea Dwarf Sugar Snap Seeds

Pea Dwarf Sugar Snap is an early-maturing variety with a deliciously sweet flavour that can be enjoyed pod and all. Growing on sturdy, compact bushes to around 60cm tall, it produces heavy crops of well-filled pods. A nutritious addition to the garden, it’s an excellent source of vitamins A, C and folate.
How To Grow
Prepare flat trenches 15cm wide and 5cm deep in a sunny, well-prepared, rich soil. Sow seeds in a zig-zag fashion along the middle of the trench, spacing 5cm apart. Cover with soil and firm down gently. Space rows 45cm apart and up to 2m long. Protect young seedlings from birds with netting or cotton during early growth. Seedlings emerge in 7–10 days. Water regularly once germinated and keep soil moist. Fertilising is not required, as peas produce their own nitrogen.
When To Plant
Autumn through Spring. Late sowings are also suitable in cooler zones, but avoid flowering during frost periods.

10–12 weeks from sowing.
