Product Overview
Chinese Cabbage Wombok Nagaoka Seeds
100 seeds
A fast-maturing and highly versatile vegetable with a crisp, tender heart. Wombok is a staple in Asian cooking, ideal for stir-fries, soups, dumplings, and fresh salads. Its mild, delicate flavour also makes it an excellent substitute for lettuce or traditional cabbage. Thrives in both full sun and partial shade.
How To Grow
Sow seeds 6 mm deep in rows spaced 30 cm apart, directly in the final growing position. Keep the soil consistently moist and thin seedlings to 30 cm apart once established. Water regularly, especially during warm or dry spells, to encourage tender, juicy growth.
When To Plant
Late Summer through to Autumn.
Harvest
Ready to harvest in 8–10 weeks.
Sow
Spring, Summer, Autumn.
Important Note
These seeds may be treated with a fungicide (Thiram or Apron XL). Do not eat the seeds or feed them to animals. If treated, the packet will carry a clear warning label and the seeds will be dyed a distinct colour. Treatment does not affect your crops or harm pollinators such as bees.
