Cabbage Red Ruby Ball F1 Hybrid Seeds

Red Ruby Ball is a standout hybrid cabbage producing solid, tightly packed heads with striking deep ruby-red leaves. Compact in habit with very few outer leaves, it’s perfect for smaller garden spaces while still delivering excellent yields. The crisp texture and mild flavour make it ideal for fresh salads, vibrant coleslaw, or as a colourful addition to pickles and preserves.
How To Grow
Sow seeds 6mm deep in trays, seed beds, or directly into prepared garden soil. Keep soil consistently moist for strong germination, with seedlings appearing in 6–10 days. Transplant or thin to 60cm apart, ensuring each plant has space to form a full, solid head. Grow in fertile, well-cultivated soil with plenty of organic matter, and water regularly for the best results.
When To Plant
Sow from mid winter through to late autumn.
Harvest
Ready to pick in 10–12 weeks from sowing. Harvest heads when firm, before they become over-mature.

Important Note
These seeds may be treated with a fungicide (Thiram or Apron XL). Do not eat the seeds or feed them to animals. Fungicide treatment is an AQIS requirement for certain seed varieties. It does not affect your crops or harm beneficial insects such as bees. If treated, seed packets will be clearly labelled and seeds will be dyed for identification.
