Product Overview
Spinach Lazio F1 Hybrid Seeds
250 Seeds
Lazio F1 is a modern hybrid spinach variety bred for reliability and performance. It produces smooth, rounded dark green leaves that are slow to bolt and resistant to downy mildew races 1–7. Perfect for baby leaf production or for growing as mature spinach, it’s the variety most often seen in supermarkets as fresh baby spinach. Compact and productive, it’s also well suited to container growing.
How to Grow
Sow seeds 2.5 cm deep in rows 30 cm apart. Water well, especially during dry periods. For baby leaves, sow thinly and harvest directly without thinning. For full-size plants, thin seedlings to 15 cm apart. For a continuous supply, repeat sowings every 2–3 weeks. Harvest baby leaves as required to encourage regrowth, with up to 3–4 cuts possible. Avoid sowing for mature plants in midsummer.

Autumn and winter.
Soil Type
Prefers fertile, well-drained soil enriched with organic matter. Grows well in garden beds or containers.
