How To Grow
Sow seeds in late summer to autumn, starting them in trays, punnets, or directly in the garden. Cover lightly with soil (about 5mm deep) and keep consistently moist until seedlings appear, usually within a week. Once strong enough, transplant to their final site, spacing plants about 60cm apart. Provide regular watering and feed with a balanced fertiliser to encourage firm, well-formed heads.
When To Plant
Late summer through autumn, with earlier sowings in cooler districts.
Harvest
Expect tight, flavoursome heads ready for cutting 12–16 weeks after sowing. Regular picking helps maintain quality and prolongs the harvest.

Important Note
These seeds may be treated with a fungicide (Thiram or Apron XL). Do not consume or feed to animals. Treatment is a quarantine requirement and does not impact crop safety or beneficial insects. Treated seed will be clearly marked on the packet and dyed for easy identification.
