Kailaan Express is a fast-growing Asian broccoli variety that’s quick to mature and full of flavour. The tender stems, leafy greens and flower buds are all edible, making it a versatile crop for the kitchen. Packed with Vitamin C and antioxidants, it’s a healthy addition to stir-fries, steaming, or lightly sautéed dishes.
How To Grow
Sow seeds shallowly in rows 40cm apart, keeping the soil consistently moist, especially during warmer months. Thin seedlings to 30cm apart once established. This variety thrives in a sunny, well-drained position and will benefit from regular feeding to encourage vigorous growth. Seedlings typically appear within 6–10 days.
When To Plant
Sow from spring through to autumn for a steady supply.
Harvest
Ready to pick in just 8–10 weeks. Harvest the whole plant or cut stems as needed.

These seeds may be treated with a fungicide (Thiram or Apron XL). Do not eat the seeds or feed them to animals. Treatment is an AQIS requirement for certain seed varieties and does not affect your crop or harm beneficial insects. Treated packets will be clearly marked, and seeds dyed for identification.
