How To Grow
Sow seeds 5 mm deep in pots, trays, or directly into a warm, well-drained garden bed. Keep soil consistently moist until seedlings appear (7–21 days). When plants reach about 5 cm tall, transplant into 15 cm pots or into the ground, spacing around 45 cm apart. Choose a sunny, sheltered spot and feed with liquid fertiliser every few weeks. Regular picking encourages more fruit production.
When To Plant
Spring to Summer. In frost-free or tropical zones, sowing is possible all year round.
Harvest
8–10 weeks from sowing. Pick green for a milder flavour or wait until fruits mature for a richer colour and stronger heat.
