Paris Market 5 is a traditional French heirloom variety prized for its small, round roots and rich flavour. Unlike long-rooted types, it thrives in heavier or shallow soils and can even be grown successfully in containers. A favourite among chefs for its charming shape and gourmet quality.
How To Grow
Sow seeds 5mm deep in rows or small blocks, spacing 20cm apart. Cover lightly with fine soil, firm gently and keep moist. Seedlings emerge in 10–14 days. Thin to 5cm between plants once established. Keep soil weed free and evenly watered to ensure tender, well-shaped carrots.
