The Everlastings (Schoenia filifolia) are easy-to-grow annuals that light up the garden with vivid golden-yellow blooms. Perfect for massed bedding or cut flowers, they provide a cheerful display through the warmer months. Plants can be trimmed back after their first flush to encourage additional flowering. Protect young seedlings from frost to ensure strong growth.

How To Grow
Sow in warm areas at any time. In frost-prone regions, wait until the danger of frost has passed. Fill pots or seed trays with moist sandy soil, water thoroughly, and compress. Sow seeds thinly on the surface but do not cover with soil. Apply Wildflower Seed Starter granules to the soil surface if available. Keep the surface evenly moist during germination. Place in a warm, shaded position until seedlings are established. Transplant into a sunny or partly shaded position in well-drained soil. Everlastings respond well to rich soils.
