Product Overview
Water Spinach Kang Kong World Kitchen Seeds
Approx 50 Seeds
Kang Kong, also known as Water Spinach, is a popular leafy vegetable widely used in South-East Asian cuisine. Thriving in hot, humid conditions and even boggy soils, it produces tender, succulent stems and leaves that can be enjoyed fresh, steamed, sautéed, or in stir-fries. A versatile and fast-growing green, perfect for warm-climate gardens.
How to Grow
Sow seeds 10 mm deep in seed trays or directly where they are to grow, whether in the garden, a container, or even alongside a pond. Firm down gently and keep moist. In tropical areas, containment is recommended as Kang Kong can become invasive. For pot-grown plants, keep the container partly submerged in water to maintain constant moisture.

Well-cultivated, moisture-retentive soil.
