Thyme Creeping Herb Seeds
500 Seeds
Creeping Thyme is a hardy, aromatic groundcover that provides the same wonderful flavour as traditional thyme, while also serving as a beautiful and practical garden plant. Its small, nectar-rich flowers attract pollinators, making it a valuable addition to vegetable and flower gardens. Tough and drought-tolerant once established, Creeping Thyme thrives in hot, dry conditions and is perfect for rockeries, pots, between stepping stones, or as a lawn alternative for low-traffic areas.
How to Grow
Sow seeds in clumps 30 cm apart, 5 mm deep, and cover lightly with seed-raising mix. Choose a sunny, well-drained position. Germination takes 14–21 days in soil temperatures of 18–21°C. In cooler climates, sow from spring to autumn after the last frost. In mild areas, sow in autumn for winter growth. Plants reach maturity in around 100 days. Pick leaves as required; for drying, harvest just before flowering.

Soil Type
Well-drained soil, preferably light and sandy. Avoid heavy or waterlogged ground.
