Product Overview

Tarragon Russian Herb Seeds

350 Seeds

Russian tarragon is a hardy, vigorous herb with slender green leaves and a mild aniseed flavour. It pairs beautifully with poultry, fish, salads and sauces, and also makes an attractive addition to the garden or patio. Easier to grow than French tarragon, it thrives in pots and containers as well as sunny garden beds.

How To Grow

Sow seeds thinly in the final growing position, lightly covering with fine soil or seed-raising mix. Keep moist until seedlings emerge, then thin to about 30cm apart. Trim plants lightly and regularly to encourage a steady supply of fresh leaves. Tarragon enjoys full sun and consistent moisture.

When To Plant

Best sown in spring to early summer.

Harvest

Pick leaves as required once plants are established. Regular harvesting helps maintain fresh growth.

Soil Type

Prefers light, well-drained soil enriched with compost or organic matter.
