How To Grow
Sow seeds thinly 5mm deep in rows spaced 30cm apart. Keep soil moist during germination and growth. Once seedlings are large enough to handle, thin to 10cm apart. Water well after thinning to settle the soil around the roots. For a steady supply, sow every two weeks. Remove stones and clumps from the bed before planting to avoid misshapen roots. Seedlings usually appear in 10–21 days.

Important Note
Carrots grow best in soil that is not overly rich in nutrients. Excess nitrogen can cause roots to fork instead of growing straight.
