Bean Dwarf Tendergreen Seeds

Tendergreen is a reliable dwarf variety that produces heavy crops of long, fleshy pods with excellent flavour. The beans are virtually stringless and perfect for cooking or freezing. Compact in growth, they are ideal for smaller gardens and can even be grown successfully in pots and containers.

How To Grow
Sow seeds 25mm deep in damp, well-prepared soil enriched with compost or aged manure. Avoid watering for a day or two after sowing. Space seeds 7–10cm apart with 50cm between rows. Ensure all danger of frost has passed and protect plants from strong winds. Plant in rows 3–5m long and keep weed-free.
Water regularly during dry weather. As legumes, dwarf beans enrich the soil with nitrogen, so extra fertiliser is not needed. Harvesting often will encourage continued cropping.

Spring and Summer; also suitable for Autumn in warmer regions.
