Product Overview
Bean Dwarf Simba Seeds
20 grams of seed
A professional-grade dwarf bean that delivers heavy crops of long, stringless pods. Simba is a compact, space-saving variety producing succulent, fleshy beans with excellent flavour, perfect for the home garden or small plots.
Plant Height
50–60cm
How To Grow
Sow seeds 25mm deep in damp, well-prepared soil enriched with compost or aged manure. Avoid watering for a day or two after sowing. Space 7–10cm apart, with 50cm between rows. Choose a sunny position, ensure the danger of frost has passed, and protect from strong winds.
Grow in rows 3–5m long and keep weed-free. Water consistently during dry periods. Additional fertiliser is not required as legumes naturally fix nitrogen. Harvest regularly to encourage a long, productive crop.
When To Plant
Spring and Summer; autumn sowing also possible in warmer regions.
Harvest
8–10 weeks from sowing.
Sow
Spring, Summer
Important Note
These seeds may be treated with a fungicide (Thiram or Apron XL). Do not eat treated seeds or feed them to animals. This treatment is an AQIS requirement for certain seed varieties and does not affect your crops or harm beneficial insects such as bees.
