Bean Dwarf Brown Beauty Seeds

Dwarf Brown Beauty is a reliable dwarf bean variety producing excellent quality pods with a fine flavour. Known for its ability to crop over a long period, it is particularly suited to later sowings and performs well in hot conditions. A half-hardy annual, this bush type does not require staking and is ideal for home gardens.
How To Grow
Sow seeds 25mm deep into damp, well-prepared soil enriched with organic compost or aged manure. Avoid watering for the first couple of days after sowing. Space plants 7 to 10cm apart in rows 50cm wide, and grow in blocks or rows 3 to 5m long. Keep the area free of weeds and water regularly during dry periods.
In hot or humid conditions, lightly mist the flowers with water to help pod set. As legumes fix their own nitrogen, additional fertiliser is not required.
