Zucchini Greenskin Seeds

Greenskin is an early maturing bush variety that produces heavy crops of glossy, dark green zucchinis with a fine flavour. A classic kitchen favourite, zucchini has long been a staple in European cooking and is perfect for grilling, stir-fries, roasting, and baking. Greenskin plants are compact and productive, making them an excellent choice for home gardens.
How to Grow
Sow seeds 12 mm deep directly into their final growing position. Plant 3–4 seeds in clumps and thin to the two strongest seedlings once established. Space plants 100 cm apart with 100 cm between rows. Prepare the soil well with organic matter and a complete fertiliser before planting. Keep soil consistently moist, watering at the base of the plants to avoid leaf disease. Pick zucchinis regularly at 12–15 cm long to ensure tender fruit and continuous cropping.

Spring and summer.
Soil Type
Fertile, well-drained soil enriched with compost or organic matter. Prefers a sunny, sheltered position.
Harvest
Ready in about 8 weeks. Harvest frequently to promote ongoing yields.

Important Note
These seeds may be treated with a fungicide (Thiram or Apron XL). Do not eat the seeds or feed them to animals. If treated, the packet will be clearly marked and the seeds dyed a distinct colour.
