Zucchini Blackjack Seeds

Blackjack is one of the most prolific and best-known zucchini varieties, producing glossy, very dark green fruits with tender flesh and excellent flavour. A fast-growing crop, it is highly productive when picked regularly at around 15 cm long, encouraging continuous harvests over the season. Perfect for grilling, stir-fries, baking, or enjoying fresh from the garden.
How to Grow
Sow seeds 12 mm deep directly into their final growing position. Sow 3–4 seeds in clumps, thinning to the two strongest seedlings once established. Space plants 90 cm apart with 100 cm between rows. Keep soil consistently moist and enrich with organic matter or complete fertiliser before planting. Harvest frequently to maintain high yields and tender fruits.

Spring to summer.
Soil Type
Fertile, well-drained soil enriched with compost or organic matter. Prefers a sunny position.
Harvest
Ready in about 8 weeks. Harvest regularly at 12–15 cm long to encourage continuous cropping.

Important Note
These seeds may be treated with a fungicide (Thiram or Apron XL). Do not eat the seeds or feed them to animals. If treated, the packet will be clearly marked and the seeds dyed a distinct colour.
