Spinach Viking Seed Tape Seeds

Viking Spinach is a quick-maturing variety with dark green leaves, excellent flavour, and high levels of vitamins and minerals. Baby leaves can be eaten fresh in salads as a healthy alternative to lettuce, while mature leaves are perfect for cooking. Supplied as easy-to-use seed tapes, this variety ensures even spacing, less thinning, and a fuss-free start for beginner and experienced gardeners alike.
How to Grow
Prepare well-cultivated soil in a partly shaded position. Separate the seed tape strips and lay them out in prepared rows 1 cm deep and 30 cm apart. Cover lightly with soil and keep moist. Thin seedlings to 30 cm apart once large enough to handle. For a continuous supply, repeat sowings every 3 weeks. Seedlings emerge in 14–21 days. Harvest the largest leaves first to encourage ongoing growth.

Autumn through spring in most climates.

Prefers fertile, moist, well-drained soil enriched with compost or organic matter.
Harvest
Leaves are ready from 6–8 weeks. Harvest outer leaves as required to keep plants producing.
