Product Overview
Marrow Long Green Bush 2 Seeds
20 seeds
A traditional favourite producing dark green fruits with creamy stripes on compact bushy plants. The large fruits are ideal for stuffing, baking, or serving with a cheese sauce. Compared to zucchinis, marrows have bulkier fruit with drier flesh and a stronger flavour. This variety produces prolific crops and is a good source of vitamin C. Best harvested young while still small and tender for maximum yield.
How To Grow
Sow seeds 12mm deep directly into prepared soil in their final position. Sow in clumps of 3–4 seeds, thinning to the two strongest seedlings. Space 90cm between rows and between plants. For an earlier start, sow seeds in trays or punnets and transplant when strong enough to handle. Keep well watered and enrich soil with organic matter and complete fertiliser before planting.
Seedlings emerge in 6–10 days.
