Devil’s Brew is a fiery little chilli that packs plenty of punch for its size. Compact plants are highly productive, producing masses of small, tapered fruit that ripen from green to bright red. With a hot, sharp flavour, they’re perfect for adding heat to sauces, curries, marinades, and drying for chilli flakes.
How To Grow
Sow seeds 5 mm deep in seed trays or punnets filled with seed-raising mix. Keep moist until germination, then transplant seedlings once they reach 7–10 cm tall. Space plants around 40–50 cm apart in a sunny, sheltered spot with well-drained soil. Water consistently but avoid waterlogging, and apply a liquid fertiliser every few weeks for strong growth. Plants can also be grown in large pots.

Spring to early Summer, or all year round in warm, frost-free regions.
Harvest
10–12 weeks from sowing, with regular picking extending the harvest period.
