Celery Tall Utah Seeds
1000 seeds
Celery Tall Utah is a dependable heirloom variety first introduced in 1953. It produces medium-dark green, stringless stalks with compact, crunchy hearts and a rich, full flavour. Known for its disease resistance and reliability, it remains one of the most popular celery choices for home gardens and market growers alike.
How To Grow
Sow seeds 5mm deep in seed trays from spring through to autumn, keeping the soil consistently moist. Seedlings typically emerge within 7–14 days. Transplant when plants have 2–4 true leaves, spacing them 25cm apart in block formations to encourage natural blanching. Maintain regular watering and feeding to promote steady growth, and remove any side shoots forming at the plant base. Harvest by cutting stems cleanly at ground level.
