Pincushion Flower Tall Double (Scabiosa atropurpurea) produce a fantastic mix of richly coloured, double blooms held high on tall stems. Ideal for both cutting and drying, these striking flowers add height and movement to garden beds while also attracting bees and butterflies into the garden.
How To Grow
Sow 5mm deep directly into the flowering position, or sow into seed trays and transplant when seedlings are approximately 5cm high. Thin plants to about 30cm apart once established and keep soil moist but not overly wet. Feed with a liquid fertiliser when buds appear. Seedlings usually emerge in 10 to 14 days.
