Product Overview
Carrot Kuroda Seeds
1000 seeds
Carrot Kuroda is a heat-tolerant variety producing uniform, smooth roots up to 18cm long and 6cm wide. Known for its sweet flavour and tender texture, it thrives in warmer and sub-tropical regions where many other carrots struggle. With strong resistance to leaf blight, this is a reliable choice for gardeners wanting consistent results and excellent quality crops.
How To Grow
Sow seeds direct into the garden, 5mm deep in rows 30cm apart. Work the soil thoroughly until it is fine and crumbly; in heavier clay soils, mix in sand and organic matter to improve drainage. Thin seedlings to 7.5cm apart once established, and water well to firm the soil around roots. For a continuous harvest, repeat sowings every 2 weeks. Seedlings usually appear within 10–21 days.
