Product Overview
Capsicum Sweet Allsorts Seeds
75 seeds
A colourful and fun mix of sweet capsicums that produces a surprise selection of red, green, yellow, and even purple-brown fruits. Perfect for dicing into fresh summer salads, roasting, grilling, or adding to a variety of cooked dishes. This mix will brighten both your garden and your plate.
How To Grow
Sow seeds 6mm deep in seed trays or pots of seed raising mix. Keep soil warm (around 18°C) and moist until germination. Transplant seedlings into 12cm pots once they are about 5cm tall. Move into the garden or large containers when frosts have passed, choosing a sunny, sheltered spot with rich soil. Water consistently, feed regularly with liquid fertiliser, and mist flowers to help pod set if conditions are dry. Capsicums grow best in warm, sunny conditions or under cover in a greenhouse.
When To Plant
Late Winter through to early Summer, depending on your region.
Harvest
Pick fruits through Summer and Autumn as they ripen – enjoy them green or wait until they reach full colour for maximum sweetness.
Sow
Spring, Summer, Winter
Important Note
These seeds may be treated with a fungicide (Thiram or Apron XL). Do not eat the seeds or feed them to animals. Fungicide treatment is an AQIS requirement for certain seed varieties. It does not affect your crops or harm beneficial insects such as bees. If treated, the packet will be clearly marked and the seeds will be dyed a distinct colour.
