Capsicum Giant Bell Seeds

One of the most popular sweet peppers, Giant Bell produces large, blocky fruit with thick walls and a mild flavour. The fruits start green, then ripen through to bright red, and can be enjoyed at any stage for different flavours. Perfect for roasting, stuffing, stir-fries, or adding crunch to fresh salads.
How To Grow
Sow seeds 6mm deep in seed trays or punnets filled with quality seed raising mix. Keep warm and moist until germination. Transplant seedlings into 12cm pots once they are strong enough to handle, then move to their final position when around 15cm tall. Space plants 50cm apart and provide a stake or support to help manage the weight of the large fruit. Apply a balanced fertiliser regularly to encourage healthy growth and heavy yields.
When To Plant
- Cool and temperate zones: Early Spring to early Summer, once frosts have finished.
- Subtropical and tropical zones: Spring through Summer, or year-round in frost-free areas.
Harvest
Pick fruit as required throughout Summer and Autumn, either green or fully ripened red.
