Squash Yellow Scallop Seeds
15 Seeds
Yellow Scallop is a compact bush-type squash that produces generous yields of bright, scalloped fruits. Easy to grow and ideal for small gardens, the fruits are best picked young at 5–10 cm in diameter for the sweetest flavour and tender texture. Versatile in the kitchen, they can be steamed, grilled, roasted, or sautéed in butter.
How to Grow
Sow 2–3 seeds together 2 cm deep into damp soil at 1 m intervals. Thin to the two strongest seedlings. Seedlings emerge in 6–10 days. Grow in a sunny position in fertile, well-prepared soil and keep plants well watered. Harvest regularly to encourage continued production.

Soil Type
Prefers fertile, well-drained soil enriched with compost or organic matter.

Important Note
These seeds may be treated with a fungicide (Thiram or Apron XL). Do not eat the seeds or feed them to animals. Treatment is an AQIS requirement for certain seed varieties and does not affect crops or harm beneficial insects such as bees. If treated, packets will be clearly marked and the seeds dyed a distinct colour.
