Parsnip Hollow Crown is a traditional variety producing compact, conical roots that are ideal for smaller garden spaces. They are reliable croppers with a sweet, nutty flavour and provide excellent value for the space they occupy. Parsnips thrive best in an open, sunny position and improve in flavour after exposure to cooler weather.
How To Grow
Sow seeds 6mm deep in rows 45cm apart. Sow thickly, as germination can be irregular. Thin seedlings gradually to 25cm apart. Keep the soil moist until plants are established.

Spring through Autumn (avoid Winter).

Ready in about 18 weeks.
