A robust continental parsley with large flat leaves, perfect for Mediterranean and everyday cooking. This variety is rich in flavour and highly nutritious, containing very high levels of iron and vitamin C. Certified 100% organic, it’s an excellent choice for gardeners who want reliable growth and fresh, healthy herbs from their own patch or pots.
How To Grow
Sow seeds thinly, 1cm deep, in trays or small pots of seed-raising mix. Parsley can be slow to germinate; to speed things up, pour hot (not boiling) water over the soil after sowing, taking care not to disturb the seeds. Thin seedlings to 15cm apart, later transplanting to final positions 30cm apart in the garden or in pots. Keep soil moist for steady growth. For drying, wash the leaves, then either oven-dry at 95°C (200°F) or briefly blanch in boiling water and dry in a hot oven for under 1 minute. Store in airtight, lightproof containers.

Pick leaves as required once plants are established. Regular picking encourages fresh new growth.
