Coriander For Leaf Certified Organic Seeds
200 Seeds
A reliable organic variety grown especially for its aromatic cilantro leaves. Fresh coriander is an essential herb in Mediterranean, Thai and Indian cuisine, perfect for adding to curries, stir-fries, salads and dips. Leaves can be harvested regularly, and as plants go to seed, the dried seeds can also be collected and used in cooking.
How To Grow
Sow seeds 1cm deep directly into garden beds or pots, as coriander dislikes being transplanted. Thin seedlings to around 23cm apart. Keep soil moist during germination and growth. For a continuous supply, sow successively every few weeks. Coriander grows well in pots on a sunny windowsill for year-round harvest.
When To Plant
Can be sown throughout the year, outdoors in mild conditions or indoors in pots.
Harvest
Pick leaves as required once plants are established. Harvest seed heads when they turn brown and dry for use as a spice.
Soil Type
Prefers fertile, well-drained soil enriched with compost or organic matter.
