Okra Clemson’s Spineless Lady’s Fingers Seeds

Better known as Lady’s Fingers, this vigorous variety produces heavy crops of long, tender seed pods. The pods can be par-boiled and fried, or added to soups, stews, and curries where they contribute a distinctive flavour. A productive and reliable plant for warm season gardens.
How To Grow
Sow seeds 6mm deep in a seed tray or punnet filled with seed raising mix or compost. Keep soil moist until germination. When seedlings are around 10cm tall, thin and transplant into their final position, spacing plants 50–60cm apart. Prepare the bed by enriching the soil with organic matter and a complete fertiliser.

Early Spring to early Summer.
Harvest
Pick pods 4–5 days after flowers have opened for best quality.
