Little Gardeners Giant Pumpkins Seeds
5 Seeds
Grow pumpkins as big as a beach ball with this fun variety for kids and families! These giant pumpkins can weigh up to 50 kg, making them perfect for a garden challenge — who can grow the biggest pumpkin in the neighbourhood? Easy to grow with a little care, they’re a rewarding crop for young gardeners to try.
How to Grow
Prepare a sunny garden bed by enriching the soil with plenty of organic matter. Form a mound about 60 cm wide, leaving 2 m of space around it. Sow two seeds 1.5 cm deep in the centre of the mound and cover with soil. Seedlings appear in around 7 days. Feed plants with liquid fertiliser every 2 weeks to encourage strong growth. Once seedlings establish, thin to the strongest plant. For maximum size, allow only one pumpkin to grow per plant, removing other fruit once they reach softball size. Pinch off side shoots and the growing tip once the vine reaches 5 m to direct energy into the fruit. Water well in the evenings to support growth.

Important Note
These seeds may be treated with a fungicide (Thiram or Apron XL). Do not eat the seeds or feed them to animals. Treatment is an AQIS requirement for certain seed varieties and does not affect crops or harm beneficial insects such as bees. If treated, packets will be clearly marked and the seeds dyed a distinct colour.
