Endive Ruffec Green Curled Seeds

An excellent crisp vegetable that adds a lively touch to salads. When eaten green, the leaves have a pleasantly bitter edge, but if blanched for a few days they develop a milder, more delicate flavour. A great alternative to lettuce and an easy addition to the garden.
How To Grow
Sow seeds 6mm deep in rows 25cm apart, in well-drained soil enriched with organic matter. Repeat sowings every two weeks for continuous harvests. Thin seedlings to 20–25cm apart. Keep soil moist and water regularly to encourage tender leaves.
