Product Overview
Didiscus Mix Seeds
Didiscus Mix produces delicate, lace-like flowers in soft pastel shades, bringing a relaxed cottage garden feel to beds, borders and wildflower-style plantings. Held on slender, branching stems above airy foliage, the blooms make beautiful cut flowers for fresh arrangements.
This Australian native annual attracts bees and other pollinators and tolerates a range of well-drained soils. Its graceful flowers add colour and texture throughout the warmer months.
How To Grow
Sow seeds in punnets approximately 3mm deep, covering completely with seed-raising mix. Keep moist and warm during germination, which generally takes 12 to 22 days. Transplant seedlings carefully once they have two sets of true leaves, avoiding root disturbance. Space plants approximately 20cm apart in a sunny, well-drained position, with afternoon shade in very hot climates. Water regularly while establishing.
When To Plant
Spring, or autumn in mild regions. Seeds can also be started under protection in late winter for planting out after frost.
