Carrot Baby Pak Seeds

A compact, quick-maturing carrot variety ideal for harvesting as sweet, tender baby carrots. The roots are smooth, cylindrical, and blunt-ended, making them perfect for snacking fresh, adding to lunchboxes, or lightly steaming. Their small size also makes them well suited for container growing or raised garden beds.
How To Grow
Sow seeds thinly, 6mm deep in rows 30cm apart. Keep soil evenly moist to encourage smooth root growth. Seedlings usually appear within 6–10 days. Once established, thin plants to about 2.5cm apart, watering afterwards to settle the soil. For best results, remove any stones or clumps from the garden bed before planting to prevent misshapen roots.
When To Plant
Winter through to Autumn, depending on region.
Harvest
Begin pulling early for baby carrots and continue harvesting to extend the crop. Roots are sweetest when young and tender.

Spring, Summer, Autumn, Winter
Soil Type
Loose, well-drained soil in a sunny position. Avoid recently manured or overly rich soils.
Important Note
Carrots prefer soil with low nutrient levels. Excess nitrogen can cause roots to fork or grow irregularly.
