Product Overview
Brussels Sprouts Evesham Special Seeds
500 seeds
A reliable old favourite, Evesham Special is known for producing heavy crops of large, flavoursome sprouts. Compact to medium in height, this variety is well-suited to smaller gardens and home growers, delivering excellent yields over a long picking season. The firm, green buttons are perfect for steaming, roasting, or slicing into winter stir-fries.
How To Grow
Sow seeds 1cm deep in trays or direct into the garden. Transplant seedlings once established, spacing plants around 60cm apart in rich, firm soil. Choose a sunny position and keep well watered, especially during dry spells. Support with stakes if needed and remove yellowing leaves to encourage healthy growth.
When To Plant
Sow from late summer to autumn.
Harvest
Begin picking from 16–20 weeks after sowing, harvesting sprouts from the base of the stem upwards.
Sow
