An easy-to-slice, long dark red beetroot with excellent flavour and texture. This variety is slow to go woody and reliable in performance. Grows well in most well-prepared soils and is perfect for both fresh eating and storing.
How To Grow
Sow seeds 1.2cm deep in rows 30cm apart. Keep soil moist and thin seedlings to 10cm apart once large enough to handle. Sow thinly and repeat every 4–6 weeks for a continuous harvest.
When To Plant
Late winter through to autumn.
Harvest
Ready to harvest in around 10 weeks.
