Sweet Pea Cupani Seeds
20 Seeds
Sweet Pea Cupani Seeds (Lathyrus odoratus) are one of the oldest recorded sweet pea varieties, first noted in Sicily by the Franciscan monk Cupani. The richly coloured blooms feature deep blue petals with a contrasting purple wing. This grandiflora type has smaller flowers than modern Spencer varieties but is more intensely scented and offers greater heat tolerance. A hardy annual, it flowers in its first year and performs best in a sunny position with well-drained soil.
