Salvia Blaze Of Fire (Salvia splendens) produce bold, fiery-red flower spikes throughout Summer, setting garden beds, window boxes and tubs ablaze with vibrant colour. This half-hardy annual flowers in its first year and delivers strong visual impact from late Spring through the warmer months.

How To Grow

Sow seeds 5mm deep into trays filled with quality seed-raising mix. Keep moist and warm at approximately 20 to 25°C during germination, such as on a bright windowsill. Prick out seedlings into other trays once large enough to handle to prevent overcrowding. Harden off young plants before planting out to a final spacing of approximately 25cm apart. Remove spent flowers regularly to prolong flowering.
