Lupin Gallery Mix Seeds
25 Seeds
Lupinus polyphyllus produces tall, vibrant flower spikes made up of sweet pea shaped blooms in a stunning blend of colours. These striking plants create bold vertical interest in garden beds and are excellent for mass planting in clumps. Highly attractive to bees and other beneficial insects, they perform best in cooler climates with plenty of sunshine and well prepared soil.
Plant Height: 120cm
How To Grow
Sow several seeds directly into the flowering position at a depth of approximately 10mm. Keep the soil consistently moist without allowing it to become waterlogged. Plants will establish through autumn and winter, then reshoot strongly in spring. Lupins may flower in their first year when sown in late Summer, with flowering improving in the second year. Plants naturally die back in winter and regrow in spring. Seedlings usually emerge in 21 to 30 days.
