Happy Soils Activate Carbon 5L is a 100% organic soil booster from the Happy Soils regenerative organic range, designed to help reactivate soil biology across larger garden areas. Powered by plant-based carbon, trace elements and a broad nutrient profile, Activate helps kickstart microbial activity, support beneficial bacteria colonies and improve the way nutrients are converted for plant uptake.
Activate is especially useful for lawns, vegie patches, fruit trees, herbs, leafy greens, ferns, garden beds and ornamental plantings where soil has become tired, depleted or affected by regular fertiliser use, chemical inputs, salts or general garden stress. It is designed to help detox and condition soil by converting chemical inputs, salts and heavy metals into more plant-available forms such as amino acids, proteins and sugars.

Activate provides a broad range of nutrients and trace elements, including nitrogen (N), phosphorus (P), potassium (K), sulfur (S), calcium (Ca), magnesium (Mg), sodium (Na), iron (Fe), manganese (Mn), zinc (Zn), copper (Cu), cobalt (Co), boron (B) and molybdenum (Mo).
Suitable For Sandy And Clay Soils:
Activate can be used in both sandy and clay-based garden soils. In sandy soils, it helps support microbial activity, beneficial bacteria colonies and nutrient cycling in soils that often dry out quickly and struggle to hold nutrients. In clay soils, it helps support the living biology that contributes to better soil function over time, especially when used alongside compost, mulch or gypsum where needed.
How To Use:
Mix 20 ml into 9 litres of water and use the mixed solution within 24 hours. Apply directly to the desired area, including soil, lawns, garden beds, pots or foliage where suitable. Reapply every 4 weeks during active growth.
Use It As Part Of The Happy Soils Program:
Activate is the foundation step in the Happy Soils system. Use it first to help detox, condition and energise the soil, then follow with Heal n' Shield Liquid or Heal n' Shield Granules to add beneficial bacteria around the root zone. Energise can then be used as the regular organic plant food and tonic to support growth, root development and nutrient uptake.
