Gomphrena, botanically known as Gomphrena haageana, is also commonly called Globe Amaranth and is prized for its vivid, clover-like blooms that flower continuously over a long season. This compact, hardy annual is excellent for bright garden displays and is especially valued for its outstanding performance as a cut and dried flower. The nectar-rich blooms also attract butterflies into the garden, adding life and movement throughout the warmer months.

How To Grow
Sow seeds 5mm deep into seed trays or directly into the flowering position once the risk of frost has passed. Keep the soil evenly moist during germination. Transplant seedlings into their final position when they reach approximately 5cm high. Grow in full sun or light part shade for best flowering performance. Seedlings emerge in 14–21 days.
