Dahlia Dwarf Bloody Mary Mix Seeds

Dahlia variabilis is a compact, free-flowering dahlia producing rich, bold blooms that deliver long-lasting colour from Summer right through into Autumn. This dwarf mix is ideal for pots, borders and cutting gardens, offering excellent flower production on tidy, low-growing plants. Easy to grow and highly rewarding, it brings vibrant impact to small spaces without overwhelming the garden.

How To Grow
Sow 5mm deep in trays of seed-raising mix or direct into the flowering position and keep moist. Seedlings appear in 10–14 days. Transplant into the garden once large enough to handle. Apply mulch to keep roots cool and suppress weeds. Feed with liquid fertiliser when buds appear for best flowering.
Care & Maintenance
Dahlias grow best with regular deep watering once or twice per week. They tolerate light morning or afternoon shade. Deadhead spent blooms regularly to encourage continuous flowering and help control pests and disease. Allow foliage to fully yellow before cutting back so nutrients return to the tuber for stronger growth next season.
In higher rainfall areas, it is recommended to lift and divide tubers annually. Store dry and replant the following spring.
