Snapdragon Magic Carpet (Antirrhinum majus) are a popular dwarf mixture that offers a compact, colourful alternative to older tall varieties. Ideal for bedding displays, tubs, window boxes and border edges, this half-hardy annual flowers in its first year and performs best in a sunny position with reliable seasonal colour.
Plant Height: 15cm
How To Grow
Sow thinly into trays filled with quality seed-raising mix. Just cover the seed lightly with compost, keep moist and maintain a temperature of approximately 15 to 20°C during germination. Seedlings usually emerge in 10 to 14 days, though germination may be irregular. Prick out once seedlings have developed 2 to 4 true leaves. Harden off and plant out when seedlings reach 5 to 10cm tall, spacing plants approximately 25 to 30cm apart. Remove spent flowers regularly to prolong the flowering season.
