Product Overview
Land Cress Seeds
1000 Seeds
Land cress is a peppery green often used as a spicier alternative to watercress. Fast-growing and hardy, it produces tender leaves with a strong, tangy flavour that adds bite to salads, sandwiches and stir-fries. Well-suited to warmer and subtropical areas, it shows good tolerance to heat and leaf blight, making it an easy and reliable choice for home gardens.
How To Grow
Sow seeds directly where they are to grow, 5mm deep into prepared, well-watered soil. Keep soil moist throughout germination and growth. Land cress prefers semi-shaded positions, making it ideal for planting beneath taller crops such as sweet corn, beans or broccoli. Seedlings usually appear within 7 to 14 days.
When To Plant
Can be sown year-round in most climates.
Harvest
Ready to pick in 6 to 8 weeks. Harvest young leaves regularly to encourage fresh new growth.
Soil Type
Best grown in well-cultivated, fertile soil with consistent moisture.
