Product Overview
The Jiffy 12 Windowsill Greenhouse offers a comprehensive solution for propagating seeds and cuttings, making it a wonderful addition to your gardening toolkit. This kit includes 12 x 36mm peat pellets and a plastic greenhouse designed to maintain an ideal warmth and humidity level for your young plants, promoting rapid growth and a healthy start to their life.
Features:
-
Jiffy Peat Pellets: These pellets are a combination of compressed peat, wood pulp, and coir pith, designed to expand with water and provide the perfect growing medium for your seeds or cuttings. The unique composition of these pellets promotes a healthy root system and quick seed germination.
-
Convenient Design: The pellet acts as both the pot and soil, simplifying the planting process. When the seedlings are large enough to handle, the entire pellet can be planted, minimising transplant shock and avoiding damage to the delicate root system.
-
Plastic Greenhouse: The included plastic greenhouse creates a warm, humid environment that supports rapid growth and healthy development of your seedlings. The compact design makes it suitable for placement on windowsills, ensuring your plants get adequate sunlight.
-
Prevents Transplant Shock: By planting the entire pellet, you avoid disturbing the plant's fragile root system, reducing the risk of transplant shock.
