Product Overview
Carnation Choice Double Mixed Seeds
150 Seeds
This vibrant blend of Dianthus caryophyllus produces a lovely range of double blooms, many carrying a gentle sweet fragrance. Annual carnations are surprisingly easy to grow and reward the effort with generous colour throughout the season. They thrive in a sunny, open position and flower in the same year they are sown.
Plant Height: 45cm
How To Grow
Sow into trays filled with quality seed-raising mix and lightly cover the seeds. Keep the mix moist and maintain a temperature of around 15–20°C. Germination usually takes 10–14 days, though it can be a little irregular. Prick out seedlings once they have 2–4 true leaves. Plants can be overwintered in a sheltered, frost-free area. Remove spent blooms to encourage continuous flowering.
